Azerbaijan decided to refuse to participate in military exercises in Russia
The decision to refuse to participate in the Caucasus 2020 international military exercises, which will be held in Russia, was made by the Azerbaijani authorities. This was announced on September 6 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country. It is noted that despite the refusal to participate in military exercises, it is planned to send two military personnel to Russia. The Azerbaijani military will play the role of observers. The Caucasus 2020 international military exercises will be held in Russia in September this year. Azerbaijan became the second country to refuse to participate in the event. Earlier, the news agency reported that the decision to refuse to participate in the exercises was made by the Indian Ministry of Defense. The reason for this decision was the difficulties in logistics that arose due to the coronavirus pandemic.
