Voting on the Constitution began at the Russian military base in Kyrgyzstan
Russian military personnel stationed in Kyrgyzstan units of the Russian Ministry of Defense and their families began voting to amend the Constitution of the Russian Federation. This was announced on June 27 by the press service of the Central Military District of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The polling station was opened at a united Russian military base located in the city of Kant. Together with the military personnel, civilian personnel of the base and members of their families, Russian citizens from the test base of the Russian Navy located in the Issyk-Kul region, as well as the military communications hub based in the village of Chaldovar, Chui region, will also be able to vote at the Kant military base. According to the news agency, two-thirds of citizens registered to participate in electronic voting on amendments to the Constitution in Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod region have already voted.
