Almaty named date of opening of non-food markets
Non-food markets of Almaty are planned to open from June 1, 2020. This was announced on May 22 by the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of the city of Erkebulan Orazalin at a briefing. According to him, markets will be able to resume work after checking for compliance with sanitary requirements. In addition, from 25 May, restrictions will be removed from food and universal markets, as well as from public service centres. As of May 22, 2001 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Almaty, 1,118 people have recovered, ten patients have died. A total of 7,597 cases were found in Kazakhstan.
