The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) plans to consider the postponement of the 2020 European Football Championship (CHE) due to the spread of coronavirus. This is reported by the German TV channel ZDF. According to journalists, UEFA management during a video conference on Tuesday, March 17, will offer representatives of European associations several options of possible holding of CHE, tournament can be postponed either to autumn or winter 2020, or to summer 2021. Representatives of the TV channel note that the most preferred option of holding the championship for UEFA is summer 2021. Recall, earlier FIFA council member and UEFA executive member Evelina Kristillin said that the possibility of transferring the European Football Championship 2020 to the next year due to the spread of coronavirus infection is under consideration.
