In China, static tests of the MA700 model aircraft began.


China's Aviation Industrial Corporation (AVIC) delivered China's first aircraft MA700 static testing, Xinhua news agency reported on March 29. The beginning of static tests marked a new stage in the development of this regional passenger liner, AVIC reported. MA700 is already the third model of aircraft in the Modern Ship series of turboprop aircraft, which is developed by AVIC XAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. in the provincial capital of Shaanxi city of Siane. The Modern Ship family currently has two aircraft MA60 and MA600. In total, more than 100 such machines were delivered to the company's customers. The improved version of the MA700 has 70 seats. It is designed for high efficiency in flights over medium and short distances. The aircraft can reach a maximum speed of 637 km/h at a flight ceiling of 5,400 meters per engine. The required take-off run is 1400 meters.
