Pentagon says cargo intercepted with Iranian missile complexes


Cargo with 150 Iranian-made anti-tank missile complexes intercepted in the Arabian Sea last week, the U.S. Armed Forces Central Command said in a statement. According to the military department, weapons are exact copies of Kornet complexes. The cargo also contained other Iranian-made missiles, other military equipment. The interception was carried out by the crew of the United States missile cruiser Normandy. The U.S. military believes that the seized weapons are identical to those detained on November 25, 2019 in the Gulf of Oman. That cargo was allegedly destined for the Houthis in Yemen.
