Congress of Ukrainians of Canada against the trip of gymnasts to the killing country


Congress of Ukrainians of Canada considers unacceptable participation of gymnasts from Ukraine in competitions on rhythmic gymnastics in Moscow which will take place on February 7 9. On February 8, the press service of the organization published a statement to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vladimir Borodyanskiy, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Wadim Prizayko. In the context of the six-year war, the aggression allegedly led by members of Congress against Ukraine, members of the organization believe that this and similar trip of Ukrainian sports teams to a country that kills, tortures and deprives citizens of Ukraine and illegally occupies the territory of the Ukrainian state is an offense of warriors who gave life and health, protecting the country from the Russian enemy.
