In Cannes, during the auction, the torch of the 1980 Olympic Games held in Moscow was sold. This was reported on July 27 by TASS. The cost of the original product, which launched the legendary games, amounted to $2 thousand 500. Recall that this torch was created by Valentin Lyubman and Boris Tuchin, at a historical moment the torch was in the hands of the famous Soviet basketball player Sergei Belov.
