Kazakhstan plans to open air traffic with China and South Korea

The aviation authorities of Kazakhstan are working on the issue of resumption of flights to South Korea, China and Azerbaijan. On June 2, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov said, the agency Kazinform reports. According to him, the authorities of the republic were guided by the epidemiological situation in foreign countries when choosing countries. Atamkulov noted that the decision to resume international air traffic was made on the basis of the rating of countries on the risk of coronavirus infection. The Minister added that in the next stage flights can resume with Germany, UAE, Czech Republic and Thailand. In addition, the resumption of flights to Hungary and Poland will be considered after 15 June. According to the news agency, since the beginning of May Kazakhstan has resumed domestic air traffic.
