Kazakhstan named three most corrupt ministries


The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan are among the three most corrupt ministries. This was announced on February 13 by the head of the prevention department of the Anti-Corruption Agency Anar Zharov at a briefing. According to her, the top 5 also includes the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development and the Ministry of Agriculture. In total, 1002 people were punished for corruption crimes in 2019, Zharova said.
